Balayage is a sunkissed, freehand highlighted technique which is used to mimic the way the sun hits your hair naturally. It’s a French technique and means ‘to sweep’ as we sweep the colour onto the hair. This gives a softer, more golden or natural result. Ombre is bolder and fades from dark at the roots to light at the ends.
